I'm mentally active. Sometimes my brain is in overdrive so I don't want to sleep, not that i have trouble sleeping, it's just that my brain doesn't want to turn off. So I'll eat a gummy to chill and tell my brain to calm down. I haven't used it on a plane yet, but it would probably be handy for long flight times. BIG PLUS! It's delicious, almost to a fault, because I want to eat a handful haha.
